Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Financial Controller to oversee financial operations and reporting in the FMCG industry. This temporary position based in Slough will require a proactive professional with expertise in accounting and finance.
Responsibilities
* Shape and implement new finance systems, reporting, and shared services — driving efficiency and future-ready controls for a fast-evolving group.
* Manage regional financial reporting and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
* Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
* Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to enhance efficiency.
* Support audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.
* Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure financial stability.
* Provide leadership and guidance to the local finance teams.
Profile / Qualifications
* A professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
* Proven experience in the FMCG industry, particularly in financial management roles.
* Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and compliance regulations.
* Proficiency with financial systems and tools, including ERP software.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
* Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
