Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough assessments to identify risks and develop effective safeguarding plans
* Engage collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to protect and support vulnerable individuals
* Provide counsel and guidance to individuals and families, ensuring their voices are heard in the safeguarding process
* Maintain detailed and accurate records to support casework and decision-making
* Stay informed on legislation, such as the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act, to uphold legal and ethical standards
* Conduct visits as needed, ensuring timely and effective intervention
Essential requirements
* Degree or equivalent in social work
* Current registration with Social Work England
* Substantial frontline social services experience in the UK as a qualified Social Worker
* Significant recent safeguarding experience
* Legal literacy, particularly regarding the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act
* Proficient IT skills, ideally with experience using Mosaic
* Ability to drive and conduct field visits as required
