Overview
The Governing Bodies of Cosheston VC School, St Aidans VA School and St Oswalds VA School wish to appoint a Family Engagement Officer to start on 1 October 2025. The role will involve working closely with the Head Teacher, School Attendance Officers, outside agencies and families across the two schools led by our Executive Head Teacher. Our FEO works with parents, encourages and organises opportunities for adult learning, monitors attendance and works with families to ensure close home/school working.

Qualifications & Skills
* Excellent communication skills are essential.
* Welsh language skills are desirable. Applications may be submitted in Welsh and will not be treated less favourably than applications submitted in English.

* Ability to maintain accurate records and perform detailed data analysis.
Salary, hours and basis
* Salary: Grade 6 - £27,269 - £30,060 pro rata.
* Hours: 18 hours per week, term time only for 45.8 weeks per annum (rising to 46.8 weeks after 5 years’ service). Pro rata per annum: £11,976 rising to £12,238.10.
* Basis: Open Ended.
