We are looking to recruit 3 Event Delivery Hosts to join our team!

Please note that we are unable to accept your application if you do not meet the following criteria:
* You will be working an average of 35 hours, over 4 days a week (shift-based including earlies, lates, night turns, weekends, and bank holidays). Earliest start time 04:00 and latest finish time 02:00
* You must be able to arrange your own transport to ensure timely arrival for early and late shifts.
* This role requires multi-station coverage with travel between stations located across Norfolk, Suffolk & Cambridgeshire.
* Employment is subject to Right to Work and DBS checks, and where applicable, a medical assessment
* Salary progression:
o 0-6 Months – £25,435
o 6-12 Months – £26,471
o 12-24 months – £29,429
o 24+ Months – £33,664

The role will report into our Event Delivery Manager and will be part of the team responsible for safety compliance and customer service including crowd control, at various stations on the Greater Anglia network within Norfolk, Suffolk & Cambridgeshire. Full training and uniform will be provided.



Key Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and efficient crowd control before and after events
• Make proactive announcements to keep customers informed
• Manage crowds to minimise train performance impact while facilitating quick and safe departures
• Providing the highest possible standard of advice, information and service to our customers
• Provide effective care to all customers, including those with mobility/ visually impaired customers, who may need to hold your arm or lean on you for guidance.
• Safely operate customer access ramps and assist passengers with their luggage

With a team of around 3,000 colleagues, we operate 134 stations throughout Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk, and Suffolk. Greater Anglia also operate Stansted Express services between London Liverpool Street and Stansted Airport.
