Join Our Talking Therapies Team
Are you interested in delivering high-quality assessments and treatments to individuals with common mental health problems? Do you want to be part of a supportive, excellent, and dynamic team? If so, this opportunity might be perfect for you.
We are looking for someone with experience in delivering psychological interventions with adults or holding a health-related degree to join our Talking Therapies workforce. The role involves providing high-intensity support to individuals with mild to moderate anxiety and depression.
The successful candidate must be available to start the High Intensity Psychological Therapies CBT Diploma at Teesside University in January 2026. You will be expected to deliver interventions in a developing primary care setting and contribute to the effective development and operation of the service. Regular supervision is a key component of this role.
Qualifications and Experience
* A recorded/registered qualification at graduate level in nursing, social work, occupational therapy, teaching, arts therapy, or within psychological therapy, with experience working in a stepped care service for anxiety and depression. (Note: PWPs must have two years post-qualification experience.)
* A commitment to a holistic model of mental health and collaboration with partners to address client needs.
* Experience working with individuals experiencing mental health problems, particularly depression and anxiety.
* Skills in assessment, interventions, and consultation with primary care colleagues.
