This role is based in Farnborough, Hampshire with 2 days per week in the office. Our office is within walking distance of the train station and has free parking. Work life balance is important to us and so we are open to discussion on flexible working patterns and part-time working (minimum 4 days per week).
Role:
The Digital Product Owner will have the lead on one or more Digital products and the roadmap for the one of our holiday brands. You will work together with the Product Team to further develop and shape the digital customer experience on our websites. You will work closely with other product managers/owners, the UI/UX team, Business Analysts and Engineers, as well as subject matter experts such as SEO, CRO and Analytics that are an integral part of our digital team. Other business experts are an integral part of the Product Management process, such as e-commerce, marketing department, travel product and content team, for example.
* Drive and own digital product vision, strategy and solution design for IHPUK Brands online platform and website properties for B2C and B2B users.
* Lead in collaboration with key business stakeholders the definition of product objectives, metrics and requirements, providing the purpose and direction of the digital product.
* Ensure that the product meets and is aligned with the business goals.
* Implement best practices, mobile-first and customer centric approach, data-driven decisions and scalable solutions, with a full understanding of our market and customers/users.
* Provide updates on market trends, competitors insights, innovation and potential solutions.
* Manage a complete product backlog, prioritize key initiatives or themes and establish the product roadmap to implement and optimize digital solutions.
* Work hand in hand with UI/UX designers, business analysts and engineers to create prototypes and MVPs.
* Manage and oversee an efficient product development process.
* Own the performance of the digital products and the optimizations with analytics and managing defined KPIs and targets.
* Manage all relevant Stakeholders and ensure communication with in the whole process.
Person:
* Relevant work experience and strong track record as a Digital Product Owner/Product Manager
* Strong communication, leadership and teamwork skills, working with or directly managing cross- functional teams and multiple stakeholders
* Experience with creating and managing product backlogs, roadmaps, prototypes and MVPs to best test and improve your solutions
* Experience with working in cross functional teams, especially engineers, business analysts, SEO and CRO
* Outstanding analytical mindset
* Ability to work with remote & international teams
* Experience in the travel industry and/or e-commerce is a strong plus
* Web & App programming skills are a plus
* Fluency in English (German a plus)
