What We’re Looking For
* Strong programming skills (ideally in Python) with experience in building scalable applications.
* Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred), including deployment and management of web applications.
* Familiarity with Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools (e.g. Terraform), including best practices for modular development.
* Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g. pytest) and writing robust test suites.
* Proficient in DevOps tools and workflows (e.g. CI/CD pipelines, Git/GitHub).
* Comfortable working in agile software development environments, with a focus on iterative delivery and collaboration.
* Background in computational, numerate, or life sciences is beneficial but not essential.
What You Might Be Doing
* Developing and maintaining software and infrastructure for web applications.
* Integrating AI/ML components with frontend, backend, data, and compute infrastructure.
* Ensuring high‑quality software delivery through automated testing, documentation, and adherence to best practices.
* Monitoring and improving key performance metrics for tools and services.
* Participating in code reviews, and contributing to continuous improvement of team standards and practices.
* Collaborating with data engineers and technical staff across teams to build end‑to‑end data pipelines.
* Supporting deployment workflows and contributing to the evolution of cloud architecture and infrastructure.
