Cambridge Regional College has an exciting opportunity for a Study Support Assistant to join our 14-19 Alternative Learning Provision team. Our Support Assistants work across both our campuses, Cambridge and Huntingdon. The position offers variable hours at £12.22 per hour.
The primary purpose of this role is to support students in core lessons, one-to-one, small groups, or vocational sessions. Additionally, Support Assistants help set, monitor, update, and sign off on learning targets to maintain high standards of achievement and behavior, providing guidance to help students succeed in their pathways.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with young people in an educational setting or similar, especially with those who may exhibit challenging behaviors or have mental health difficulties. You should have a GCSE grade C/4 or Level 2 Functional Skills in English and Maths. Excellent communication skills, flexibility, independence, and teamwork are essential.
