Facilities co-ordinator

Spilsby
National Trust
Posted: 8 June
Offer description

Summary

We're looking for a Facilities Co-ordinator with the skills to keep Gunby Hall, Tattershall Castle, Sandilands and Monksthorpe Chapel in tiptop condition and running smoothly for all the people who visit and love these places.

Due to the nature of this role, a full UK driving license will be required. We have an electric vehicle that you'll be using to travel between the four properties you'll be working at. You'll be using the vehicle on a daily basis to complete maintenance jobs and do inspections.

Hours: 18.75 per week. One week you'll work 2 days and the next you'll work 3 days. You can work from 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm depending on preference.

Interview date: 22nd and 24th June 2026

For this role, you’ll need to complete our online assessment instead of using a C.V. or online application form. This will help us understand more about your strengths and give you more information on the role.

What it's like to work here

You'll work as part of a small team across the whole of our Lincolnshire Coast Portfolio. The places you'll support vary from an imposing castle, to a homely country house, a Baptist chapel and a coastal haven for nature.

What you'll be doing

As the Facilities Co-ordinator, you’ll be making sure that places in the Lincolnshire Coast Portfolio operate as they should, by running an efficient, effective and flexible facilities service. You’ll help the property team to meet their goals by keeping standards high. You’ll be helping with maintenance and repairs (reactive, as well as planned and preventative), cleaning and caretaking, the presentation of public areas and visitor facilities (including car parks and grounds), preparing meeting rooms and co-ordinating deliveries and collections.

You can view the full role profile for this role in the document attached. You don't need to have all of the knowledge, skills and experience listed in the role profile; this is just to provide a full picture of what’s possible in this role.

Who we're looking for

We'd love to hear from you if you’re:

1. customer focused with a positive attitude
2. a team player, but also can work on your own initiative
3. comfortable using IT packages
4. well organised and adaptable
5. happy to learn new skills

The package
