Your new role As Production Team Leader, you will play a key role in overseeing day‑to‑day production activities to ensure products are manufactured to the highest quality and in line with customer specifications. Working on a rotating dayshift and evening shift pattern, you will supervise production staff, allocate daily tasks, monitor performance, and ensure that safety, hygiene, and food quality standards are consistently maintained. You will be responsible for monitoring machinery, coordinating with maintenance teams, completing production reports, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across your area. Effective communication will be central to the role as you liaise with Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, Maintenance, HR, and senior management to ensure smooth and efficient production flow. What you'll need to succeed To be successful, you will have a solid background in food manufacturing or previous experience in a supervisory role within a similar environment. You will bring strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to problem-solve independently. Confidence in managing people, promoting a culture of safety, and maintaining compliance with HACCP, GMP, and other regulatory requirements is essential. You should be comfortable working to targets, completing detailed records, and contributing to process improvements. Strong communication skills, computer literacy, and the ability to lead by example will also be key to performing well in this position.
