Adur Health Partnership is a large, innovative GP Partnership based over 4 sites in Shoreham and Southwick, currently serving over 36,500 patients in our catchment area.

We are currently recruiting for a full time (37 hours per week) Medical Receptionist to work across our sites. You will be based at one site but must be flexible to cover at our other sites as required.
The successful candidate must be available to work across our core hours to include an 8:00am start and / or a 6:30pm finish. Monday to Friday. Full shift pattern to be discussed at interview.
The successful candidate will be a professional and committed individual with relevant experience working in a front-of-house capacity, previous experience in a GP surgery is desirable but not essential as long as the candidate can demonstrate suitability and a passion for patient / customer care for the role in their covering letter & CV.
Receptionists are responsible for undertaking a wide range of reception and administrative duties and the provision of general support to the multidisciplinary team. Duties can include but are not limited to, greeting and directing patients, patient registration, booking appointments, processing of information and assisting patients as required. You are the central point of contact for patients and distributing information, messages and enquiries for the clinical team.
The role requires a high percentage of telephone work. The ability to be flexible and work between our different sites is essential. Excellent communication skills and telephone manner are essential, coupled with fast & accurate computer/keyboard skills.
