We are recruiting on behalf of our client, the UK’s leading independent distributor of thermal and acoustic insulation, interior systems, fire protection, roofing, and façade materials
We’re now looking for a professional and reliable HGV Moffett Driver to join their team.
🔧 The Role
As an HGV Driver, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring goods are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time—while providing outstanding customer service at every stop.
You’ll be responsible for:
* Transporting and delivering goods professionally and safely
* Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules
* Verifying orders and ensuring accurate, damage-free deliveries
* Building strong relationships with customers and colleagues
* Supporting warehouse duties when required
✅ What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who is:
* Customer-focused with a professional attitude
* A strong team player with a “can-do” mindset
* Flexible, proactive, and detail-oriented
* A confident communicator
Essential requirements:
* Valid HGV Licence (C or C+E)
* Driver CPC Card & Digital Tachograph Card
* Moffett Licence (preferred)
* Proven professional driving experience
* Strong awareness of health & safety and road regulations
📋 Key Responsibilities
* Drive safely and in full compliance with DVSA and EU regulations
* Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects
* Ensure loads are secure, legal, and safely transported
* Obtain delivery confirmations and manage documentation
* Maintain vehicle and site security at all times
* Handle unexpected situations such as traffic or weather disruptions
* Represent the company with professionalism on the road and on-site
