Bank Physiotherapist Opportunities – Weekday and Weekend Shifts
We are offering shifts for Band 5 or 6 Physiotherapists, depending on experience, across all wards at the Royal United Hospital. Currently, there is a focus on orthopaedic and stroke wards, but shifts are available across various acute wards including Emergency Department, General Medicine, Surgery, ITU, cancer and palliative care, and Older People’s teams.
The role requires candidates to have rotational experience, the ability to work autonomously in demanding and changing environments, and effective communication skills with healthcare professionals, community colleagues, and families.
We seek motivated team players who advocate for patient needs, support discharge planning, flow, and rehabilitation within fast-paced multidisciplinary teams.
Mandatory training will be provided through the Bank process, along with internal induction and competency awareness.
At RUH, we prioritize people, working together to deliver exceptional, person-centred care. We are proud to be among the top 20 hospitals to work for in the country.
Our organization values diversity, kindness, and civility, fostering an inclusive environment with staff networks and opportunities for learning and development. We support staff wellbeing through various programs, including physical, emotional, spiritual, and financial support, and even a pool!
We invite you to learn more about living and working in the historic city of Bath, our staff benefits, and our innovative healthcare initiatives like the Dyson Cancer Centre and research programs.
