Find out more at www.slcyber.io. ABOUT THE POSITION Searchlight Cyber is actively seeking a Junior Intelligence Analyst to become an integral part of its Intelligence and Data Collection team. This role is crucial for expanding the breadth, depth and quality of the company's data collection capability. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the identification, acquisition, and processing of vital information. This will primarily involve extensive research and data gathering from the complex and often clandestine realms of the dark web, as well as leveraging publicly available open-source intelligence. This position presents a great opportunity for an individual who is passionate about deepening their expertise in the rapidly evolving fields of cyber threat intelligence and data collection methodologies. The Junior Intelligence Analyst will gain invaluable hands-on experience, working alongside seasoned professionals. We are looking for someone eager to learn, grow, and make a tangible impact on global cybersecurity and intelligence. WHAT WILL I DO? Intelligence Requirements Be reactive to the requirements of internal and external stakeholders. Monitor emerging threats and changes in the operating environment. Data Collection Identify new sources of potential interest. Engage with relevant stakeholders to ensure relevant cyber content is harvested and made available. Help determine the prioritization of data collection requests. Information Processing Undertake the evaluation, analysis, integration and interpretation of information in order to produce intelligence on a range of cyber threat subjects. Intelligence Product Production & Dissemination Develop actionable intelligence products and outputs such as threat assessments and intelligence reports. Develop content for the use of the Searchlight Cyber marketing team. This content could include research papers on subjects of interest, analysis of data breaches, or content for Podcasts and Webinars. Research & Knowledge Sharing Share knowledge within the team to benefit and enhance understanding. Platform Development Engage with relevant internal stakeholders to develop the Searchlight platform in a manner that will benefit end users collection, processing and dissemination activities. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Experience : Minimum of 1 year of experience in intelligence analysis, cybersecurity, or related fields. Understanding of the cyber threat environment. Demonstratable cyber security / intelligence learning. Technical Competence : Understanding of intelligence frameworks. Understand and abide by the principles of intelligence.
