Our client who is long established in the local area and one of the top 15 accountancy practices nationally is looking for a talented Senior Tax Manager. The role combines personal and corporate tax knowledge to provide a bespoke tax service for a varied client base. They will allow you to lead on complex projects, manage and develop your team in a pro-active approach tailored to their needs, and help shape the strategic direction of the tax function.
* Reviewing and completing complex personal tax returns
* Managing P11Ds and advising clients on a range of tax matters
* Leading and mentoring junior staff, reviewing their work and supporting their development
* Owning client relationships, attending meetings and offering strategic advice
* Working on succession planning, corporate restructuring, and advisory projects
* Dealing with HMRC tax enquiries
* Contributing to monthly management meetings and driving continuous improvement
You will need to possess:
* CTA qualified (or equivalent) with strong post-qualification experience
* Proven experience managing a private client portfolio in practice
* Strong personal tax knowledge and a solid understanding of CT and IHT
* Strategic advisory experience (IHT, CGT, succession planning, etc.)
* Experience advising OMBs and high-net-worth individuals
* Leadership experience with a track record of developing and supporting a team
* A client-focused approach and excellent communication skills
