My Hertfordshire-based client is a privately owned SME with over twenty years of experience providing commercial cleaning and soft FM services. They operate across various sites including offices, residential, commercial communal areas, clinical spaces, retail, theatres, museums, and galleries.
I am recruiting a full-time Mobile Support Supervisor/Manager (40 hours, flexible based on site requirements). The role combines operational management with hands-on mobile support. The week is divided between supervising/managing multiple sites with support from the Head of Operations (three days) and providing deep cleaning support (two days). The sites are located in the Midlands/East Anglia region, with potential overnight stays for specialist tasks.
We seek candidates with extensive deep cleaning experience (carpets, hard floors, windows, cleaning machines) and some supervisory or management experience in the cleaning industry. Ideally, candidates will reside within the operating area and be adaptable, able to work out of hours and office hours as needed. This role offers an excellent opportunity for those seeking progression within a smaller operation, with potential future advancement to a full-time managerial position.
Supervisor/Manager duties
1. Provide operational management support across client sites
2. Conduct site audits via the Cleanlink system, resolving issues promptly
3. Manage staff timesheets and holidays using the Time Management System
4. Carry out out-of-hours spot checks
5. Ensure health & safety procedures are followed, promoting safe working practices
6. Recruit and train new cleaning staff using the Cleanlink system
7. Manage disciplinary procedures as required
8. Organise, schedule, and delegate tasks to mobile support staff and site operatives
9. Respond to client complaints and resolve issues promptly
10. Manage stock, equipment, and cleaning materials through the company app
11. Induct and train new staff and mobilise new sites
Mobile Support Cleaner duties
1. Support operational needs across client sites
2. Cover staff holidays and sickness as directed
3. Perform deep cleaning tasks (carpets, floors, ovens, windows, jet washing)
4. Record tasks using the Cleanlink system
5. Report equipment faults, damage, vandalism, hazards
6. Maintain company vehicle, reporting any issues
7. Follow health & safety procedures and promote safe practices
8. Coordinate with Mobile Area Managers and Head of Operations to meet KPIs

Salary: £31,595.20 per annum (£15.19/hour), with potential overtime and annual performance bonus. Company vehicle, laptop, mobile phone, and iPad provided.
