IT 3rd Line Support Engineer
Location: John Ruskin College (Selsdon) and East Surrey College (Redhill)
Contract Type: Full time (37 hours/week) 08:45-17:00 Monday to Friday
Salary: up to £44,243 per annum

What you’ll be doing
* Act as the escalation point for complex IT issues
* Troubleshoot and deliver long‑term solutions
* Support and optimise on‑prem and cloud environments
* Maintain secure, stable, high‑performing systems
* Contribute to IT transformation, upgrades and new technologies
* Support cybersecurity, patching and compliance activities
The successful candidate must have
* MCSE qualification or equivalent
* Computer‑based degree or equivalent in computer engineering or a relevant field
* Significant experience in a 3rd line IT support or infrastructure support role
* 3rd line technical knowledge with excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
* Preferred experience working within an education environment
* Mathematics and English GCSE / Level 2 equivalent
