Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Civil / Structural Technician with a strong background in delivering high-quality technical drawings and models.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD and Revit with a minimum of 5 years relevant UK experience, preferably with an ICE or IStructE EngTech qualification. Experience with Navisworks and Civil 3D would be advantageous.
The right candidate will have experience working on projects conducted to BIM Level 2 and be conversant with associated protocols. The successful applicant will have a good knowledge of building details, and have worked on projects incorporating: steelwork, concrete, masonry and timber, and be proficient in RC detailing and scheduling.
Ideally the candidate will also have experience detailing drainage schemes, be commercially aware and have knowledge of the varying pressures that affect SME’s.
Candidates must be Eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship either now or in the future.
Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will be to act as a Senior Technician taking and interpreting Engineers calculations and sketches to develop fully detailed AutoCAD / Revit models. You will liaise with clients and other members of project teams to develop coordinated models taking projects through construction, answering queries from site in relation to details within your models. You will be expected to mentor and oversee the work of less experienced technicians technicians in delivering models and drawings, providing tutelage as necessary.
