Role overview
We are looking for an experienced Naval Architect, with proven experience of applied trials, knowing how to extract data from tests and report writing. This would cover trials, stability and performance for hydrodynamics
Responsibilities will include:
1. Perform hydrodynamics analyses and assessments on the behaviour and performance of both surface and subsurface vessels. This will include parameters on manoeuvring, resistance, and seakeeping.
2. Analyse and interpret test data to develop and validate hydrodynamic predictions.
3. Hull form design and optimisation. This will include working towards automating the process of optimising various hull forms for hydrodynamic performance.
4. Collaboration in hull structural design and drawings for regulatory body submission, including liaising with structural specialists and creating detailed drawings for manufacture. <...
