Role Information
As a Maths Tutor, you will support learners in developing their maths skills and confidence, guiding them to achieve nationally recognized qualifications. You will work with a team of tutors, creating tailored learning experiences and receiving support from subject specialists and vocational managers.
We are recruiting a part-time English Tutor within our Maths & English division, working a total of 9 hours per week.
DUTIES:
* Deliver engaging GCSE and Functional Skills maths sessions.
* Assess learners' starting points and needs.
* Plan and deliver tailored lessons.
* Complete Individual Learning Plans with SMART targets.
* Handle administrative tasks.
* Collaborate with colleagues to support retention and achievement.
* Ensure assessments meet requirements.
* Participate in team activities.
* Promote safe working practices.
* Engage in CPD opportunities.
* Create an inspiring learning environment.
* Operate in line with company values and promote diversity.
* Comply with safeguarding and health and safety policies.
* Maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
* Support learners, colleagues, and customers daily.
