We are pleased due to reconfiguration to be able to offer two, part-time posts within the multi‑agency integrated team responsible for assessing notifications and referrals regarding children aged 0‑18 received by the MASH.
The MASH process involves searching for and collating health information from a range of NHS providers with due regard for patient confidentiality, the MASH professional need to interpret and share what is necessary to safeguard and promote the welfare of a child.
The MASH has been designed to support effective information gathering and sharing within a secure, fire‑walled environment. The Local Authority holds statutory responsibility for the management of notifications and referrals; decision making and planning related to the outcome of the notification or referral is made collaboratively by the integrated MASH team.
This model of multi‑agency cooperation is a statutory duty for all professionals delivering care to children and families.
There are two 22.5‑hour posts with the possibility to work the hours flexibly; there is an opportunity to work both within the Local Authority and some home working.

Education/Qualifications/Training
* Educated to degree level.
* Experience working in the community.
