Trime (UK) Ltd is a leading supplier of sustainable site equipment, including lighting towers, hybrid and battery-powered generators, water management solutions, and associated products serving the construction, infrastructure, events, and rental sectors across the UK and Ireland.
Role Purpose
To drive profitable growth of Trime UK’s power generation product range by developing strong commercial relationships with rental companies, distributors, and contractors, expanding market share, and delivering consistent sales performance across new and existing accounts.
Key Responsibilities
* Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets for generator and power generation solutions.
* Proactively develop business within:
* National and regional distributors
* Construction and infrastructure contractors
* Conduct regular customer visits, product demonstrations, and technical presentations.
* Prepare and manage sales quotations, proposals, and commercial negotiations.
* Identify and convert new business opportunities while strengthening existing customer relationships.
* Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline reporting, and sales forecasts.
* Represent Trime at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events.
* Deliver product and sales training to customer teams where required.
* Collaborate with internal departments including technical, service, marketing, and operations to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Experience & Qualifications
* Proven track record in power generation or related equipment sales.
* Demonstrated success selling into rental companies, distributors, or contractors.
* Strong commercial negotiation and relationship-management skills.
* Ability to manage a regional territory and travel extensively across the UK.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Experience with hybrid, battery, or sustainable power solutions.
* Knowledge of construction, infrastructure, or events sectors.
* Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
