Overview
Diagnostic World is a healthcare company which prides itself on delivering high-quality ultrasound scanning services in the local community on behalf of the NHS. Our clinics are run from GP practices and hospitals nationally, offering more patient choice and flexibility around days and timings of appointments.
Responsibilities
* Be responsible for transporting the portable ultrasound scanner and equipment from practice to practice as required, ready for the start of the clinical session. A car is essential for this role.
* Carry out patient care duties and assist Sonographers, acting as a chaperone during clinics, including use of IT equipment.
* Provide aftercare for patients following scanning procedures.
* Assist the sonographer with cleaning requirements as needed.
* Ensure clinic rooms are clean and returned to their original state at the start of the clinic.
* Adhere to company policies and procedures in terms of health and safety, data protection and confidentiality.
* Maintain an inventory of clinical disposables and replenish as required in conjunction with the Clinic Manager.

Qualifications and Experience
* Driving licence
* 1 year experience in Healthcare
* Eligibility to reside and work in the UK
* Good organisational and time management skills
* The ability to plan and prioritize work
Additional Requirements
Please note - All appointments are subject to satisfactory references, DBS and occupational health clearance. The appointment is exempt from the provisions of Section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 by virtue of the Rehabilitation Act 1974 (Exemptions) Order 1975.
