What You Will Bring
* Experience and knowledge: Suitable experience and embedded knowledge supporting young people in crisis is mandatory.
* Two years of experience supporting individuals who require high levels of support and are often deregulated; experience of using de‑escalation techniques to keep young people safe.
* Demonstrated safe and effective decision‑making ensuring the right actions are taken in challenging situations.
* Experience of providing detailed and accurate daily record keeping and incident reporting.
* Creativity when engaging and establishing trust with children and young people, sound communication and judgement.
* Clarity over protecting personal and professional boundaries at all times.
* Register under the PVG scheme.
* Ideally have a full driver’s licence; business insurance may be required.
