Property Litigation Solicitor – Position Overview The successful Property Litigation Solicitor will manage a varied caseload of contentious property matters from inception through to resolution, acting for a diverse client base across both commercial and residential property disputes. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex and high-value matters while playing an active role in business development and the continued success of the department. Key Responsibilities of the Property Litigation Solicitor:
* Managing a broad caseload of contentious property matters.
* Advising clients on commercial and residential property disputes.
Handling disputes relating to:
* Land and property ownership.
* Landlord and tenant matters.
* Commercial property disputes.
* Managing cases from pre-action stage through to trial.
* Conducting negotiations, mediations, and settlement discussions.
* Representing clients at court hearings and trials where required.
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
* Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm.
* Supporting business development initiatives and networking activities.
Requirements of the Property Litigation Solicitor:
* Ideally 6–8 years' PQE in Property Litigation.
* Strong technical expertise in contentious commercial and residential property matters.
* Proven ability to manage files independently and take ownership of matters.
* Excellent client relationship management skills.
* Strong commercial awareness and practical problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
