The Head of Quality leads the College's quality assurance, the integrity of assessment, and the standards of the qualifications the College awards.
The postholder has the operational responsibility for supporting the Senior Leadership Team in ensuring that the College's quality framework is rigorous, proportionate and consistently applied across all campuses and provision types, and that it drives sustained improvement.
Reporting to the Vice Principal - Performance and Standards, the Head of Quality is the College's lead operational authority for quality assurance and supports the Vice Principal in discharging strategic accountability for standards and outcomes.
The postholder is the College's principal contact for awarding bodies and Quality Nominee (or equivalent), leads all external and internal quality assurance arrangements, and ensures assessment practice is fair, valid, reliable and free from malpractice.
