Managing Associate - Real Estate (Energy) - Bristol
Location: Bristol
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (hybrid working)
Salary: £85,000 to £100,000 (dependent on experience)
A leading national law firm is seeking an experienced Managing Associate to join its highly regarded Real Estate team in Bristol, with a specialist focus on Energy sector work. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, forward thinking and ambitious practice that is experiencing significant growth in the energy market.
The Role
You will play a key role within the Transactional Real Estate team, working closely with major developer and landowner clients across a range of energy asset types. Responsibilities include:
* Acting for key developer and landowner clients in the Energy sector
* Advising on ground mounted and rooftop solar, BESS, wind and other renewable assets
* Supporting corporate and commercial teams on portfolio acquisitions, disposals and financing
* Contributing to the strategic growth of the firm\'s Energy sector offering
* Working collaboratively with colleagues across the Bristol office and wider network
* Playing an active role in business development and client relationship management
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a senior real estate lawyer with:
* At least 7+ years\' PQE in commercial real estate, with significant Energy sector experience
* Strong technical expertise and a commercial, solutions focused approach
* A genuine interest in developing and expanding the firm\'s Energy offering
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational ability and experience managing competing priorities
* A collaborative mindset and ability to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues
* Self motivation, initiative and a commitment to professional growth
* Flexibility and adaptability within a fast moving, evolving sector
