The Social Work Resources department aims to promote social welfare and provide effective care and support to meet the needs of vulnerable people. In partnership with community planning partners, voluntary, and independent providers, we offer a range of services to support, improve, and protect the health and social care of service users.
The successful applicant will have experience caring for older people, preferably in a residential setting, and be familiar with all aspects of personal care. Responsibilities include constructing person-centred support plans, implementing, reviewing, and evaluating their effectiveness, contributing to assessment and review processes, and administering prescribed medicines. Shift and weekend work are required.
The candidate must hold an SVQ Level 3 in Social Care or an HNC, or be willing to work towards these qualifications.
