About The Role: As Security Supervisor, you'll lead a team of security personnel to maintain a safe hospital. You'll coordinate incident responses, uphold security standards, and provide training—everything required to ensure high-quality, proactive security operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, supervise, and schedule the security team to ensure full shift coverage and operational readiness
* Conduct patrols and audits; identify risks and implement controls
* Respond decisively to incidents and emergencies, collaborating with hospital administration and law enforcement as needed
* Maintain accurate incident logs, security reports, and operational records
* Train and mentor staff in emergency protocols, conflict resolution, and best practices
* Develop and provide Mitie training materials and security procedures
* Provide regular security updates and reporting to senior management
Essential
* Strong analytical, observational, decision making, and conflict resolution skills
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
* SIA licence (Door Supervisor / CCTV)
* Previous supervisory experience in security or related field
* Experience in healthcare or hospital environments
* UK driving licence
