Equans invites experienced M&E professionals to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the education sector. We're looking for a motivated M&E Building Services Supervisor to lead operations across two large secondary schools as part of our Barking Schools contract.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Leading a skilled M&E team to deliver both planned and reactive maintenance to high standards
* Ensuring all tasks are completed in line with contract KPIs, SLAs, and client expectations
* Coordinating work schedules, assigning jobs, and managing priorities efficiently
* Supporting emergency call‑out rota and out‑of‑hours planningOrdering materials, managing stock, and ensuring accurate job reporting and documentation
* Liaising directly with school staff and the client to build strong, collaborative relationships
* Identifying additional works, estimating costs, and supporting ongoing contract improvements
What You’ll Need To Succeed
* A recognised electrical or mechanical trade qualification (minimum Level 3)
* Experience supervising teams within building services or facilities maintenance
* A hands‑on approach with strong leadership and communication skills
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Proficiency in IT (Excel, Outlook, Word); Maximo experience a bonus
* A flexible, solutions‑focused mindset
* You must be eligible to work in the UK and able to pass an enhanced DBS check (due to school‑based work)
