We are seeking an experienced and motivated senior professional to lead the development and delivery of governance, assurance, and strategic business management across the Estates & Facilities Directorate. This newly established role offers the opportunity to shape and coordinate key governance functions, ensuring the Directorate meets its statutory, regulatory, and Board-level requirements.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with the Director, Deputy Director, and Senior Management Team to drive high‑quality governance practice and strengthen assurance processes.
* Lead on governance frameworks, oversight of assurance reporting, development of performance and compliance systems, and coordination of cross‑Directorate governance activity.
* Progress digital transformation and strengthen data‑driven decision‑making.
* Support delivery of the Directorate's strategic work plan.
Qualifications
* Significant experience in governance, strategic management or a senior operational role within a complex organisation.
* Highly developed analytical, organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to influence at senior levels and manage a diverse portfolio of responsibilities.
