Are you an experienced MRI Radiographer looking for a rewarding role?
Practice Plus Group are looking to recruit enthusiastic, experienced permanent MRI Radiographers to help grow our dynamic, friendly team of professionals in Buckinghamshire.
Our Radiology service is located within a purpose-built Diagnostics Centre, in the market town of High Wycombe (in Buckinghamshire). Located on the edge of the Chiltern hills, High Wycombe is conveniently situated close to the M40, with good train links to Oxford and London.
Our MRI suite is currently undergoing a period of exciting change and development. We are in the process of installing a state-of-the-art Siemens 1.5T Altera to complement our existing fixed Siemens Avanto. We are looking for new team members to help us realise our new and improved MRI service.
The diagnostics department also offers X-ray, Ultrasound and Echocardiograms and the local MSK and Physiotherapy service is co-located enabling close working with other healthcare professionals.
This role is part-time, working 1 long day (08:00 to 19:00) a week; any day from Monday to Thursday. We will be looking for someone to start in October 2025.
What you'll be doing
As ourMRI Radiographer, you will:
* Produce a high standard of professional radiographic practice at all times, maintaining a level of professional accountability in accordance with the SOR / COR statements of professional conduct, whilst undertaking all radiographic duties performed within the scope of practice of the appointed role
* Clinically justify MRI referrals using referral acceptance criteria defined within the Practice Plus Group (PPG) referral and scanning protocols and also validate reports that have been produced.
* Work both autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team, managing examination workload effectively and producing a consistently high quality and safe level of care for all patients.
What we’ll look for in you
You will beHCPC registered (or equivalent) withBSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography or DCR(R) qualification, in addition you will be:
* Competent to use Siemens MRI systems.
* Possess excellent communication and organisational skills and represent the values of PPG.
