Eden Scott is working in partnership with a highly regarded Financial Services firm in Edinburgh, currently experiencing increased workflow and seeking to expand their central support team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a close-knit, professional environment as an AML Analyst, supporting the business in maintaining robust compliance and due diligence standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct AML and KYC checks on new and existing clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Review and process documentation for pensions and investment applications with a focus on AML risk.
* Act as a key point of contact for internal teams and external clients regarding AML queries and documentation.
* Liaise with product providers to obtain and verify information, issue Letters of Authority (LOAs), and maintain accurate records in the internal database.
* Prepare AML-related reports, client risk assessments, and support pre-sale documentation processes.
* Manage your own workload and support the wider team in prioritising AML-related tasks.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Previous experience in an AML, compliance, or financial administration role within a wealth management or financial planning environment.
* Strong understanding of AML regulations and best practices in the UK financial services sector.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
