Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting SEN Learning Support Assistants to work within a range of specialist and mainstream schools across Reading and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with additional needs.

The Role:As an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who require additional support to access learning and develop essential life skills. You may provide one-to-one support, assist small groups, or work alongside classroom teachers to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities Include:

* Supporting pupils with a range of needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech and Language Difficulties, SEMH, and Learning Difficulties.
* Assisting with classroom activities and adapting learning materials where necessary.
* Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
* Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
* Promoting independence, confidence, and social development.

What We're Looking For:

* Experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable adults is desirable but not essential.
* A genuine passion for supporting individuals with additional needs.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A patient, caring, and resilient approach.
* Relevant qualifications in Education, Psychology, Health & Social Care, or related fields are advantageous.
