Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join a major sustainability and surveying consultancy, in a permanent position. As the successful candidate you will be required to work on a hybrid basis (2-3 days) in our client's London office. This is a great opportunity to work on commercial office buildings, retail, industrial and residential projects.
-Competitive salary ranging from £45,000-£50,000 (depending on experience).

Key Responsibilities:
- Designing electrical systems to meet project needs and standards.
-Create technical drawings, specifications, and calculations for systems.
-Work alongside other engineers to integrate systems with building designs.
-Communicate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to meet deadlines.
-Ensure compliance with regulations and sustainability standards.
-Help prepare project cost estimates, schedules, and resources.
-Partaking in site inspections and client and contractor meetings when needed.
What we are looking for:
-Degree level qualified in engineering systems design.
-Must have strong IT knowledge using MS Word, Excel, and Project.
-Excellent design software knowledge such as Amtech, Dialux and Relux along with AutoCAD is preferable.
-3 years' experience within this role.
-Strong communications skills, with the ability to liaise with clients and contractors.
-Working knowledge of IES, SBEM and Part L requirements
