We are looking for a Business Development Coordinator to join our team in Peterborough (covering the Peterborough and Cambridge catchment areas), who will drive sales and order winning activities by actively promoting Portakabin products and services.
As a Business Development coordinator you will play a pivotal role, supporting commercial colleagues by managing administrative tasks related to order-winning activities and take the lead in business development calling and promote Portakabin products and services.
Role Details:
•Annual salary up to £31,000 dependent on skills and experience. Plus monthly commission – Annual circa £7,500
•Role based: Papyrus Rd, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, PE4 5ET
•Permanent
•Annual leave of 25 days per annum plus bank holidays and opportunity to buy an additional 5 days each year.
In this role you will be required to:
•Structured business development campaigns are conducted to meet order targets.
•Collaborate with team members and colleagues to take the lead in business development calling, commercial and administrative support aimed at achieving order targets at agreed margins.
•Execute all commercial administrative activities accurately and efficiently.
•Identify and resolve issues promptly, escalating where necessary to improve processes and share learning.
•Customer enquiries are responded to promptly within agreed SLA timelines.
•Prioritize customer service to maximise customer satisfaction and ensure continuity of service for future order winning opportunities.
•Collaborate with colleagues to understand and confirm stock availability, refurbishment and fit out details.
•Office based role.
•Collaborate with customers and internal teams to expedite collection of outstanding customer payments.
•Maintain effective relationships across teams and respond to administrative queries through appropriate communication channels.
•Quotations are prepared and collated accurately and followed up with customers on time.
•Customer information is maintained up-to-date and accurate in internal systems.
•Customer cash collection targets met through timely customer payments.
Our ideal candidate
•Experience of targeted business development activities e.g. lead based calling.
•Administrative experience in a customer service environment.
•Experience in a target driven environment.
•Minimum GCSE or Equivalent level of education including Maths and English.
•Competent in using Microsoft packages including MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
•Working knowledge of SAP (or similar systems).
