Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our long established family run, non corporate dental practice. The role is ideally full time although there could be some flexibility for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of practice management, including financial oversight and human resources. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning of the practice while providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and manage all aspects of the dental practice in the key areas of finance, administration, health and safety, personnel and patient management.
* Efficient and effective management of financial reporting and audit.
* Implement effective human resource practices, including recruitment, induction, training, performance evaluations and record keeping.
* Chair practice meetings.
* Implementation of the practice clinical governance system.
* Management of the practice security.
* Perform the duties of the health and safety manager.
* Management of the practice equipment in accordance with manufactures instruction and practice policies.
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, staff, and external stakeholders.
* Monitor stock inventory levels of dental supplies and equipment.
* Address any patient concerns or complaints in a professional manner to enhance patient experience.
Experience
* Proven supervising experience within a dental or healthcare setting is essential.
* Strong management skills with a focus on team development and motivation.
* Experience in financial management, including budgeting and reporting.
* Familiarity with human resources practices related to recruitment and employee relations.
