About the Company:

The client is seeking a highly skilled Proposals Engineer to develop accurate, customer-focused, and competitive proposals for packaged plantroom solutions, including off-site systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Interpret Technical Requirements: Analyze client specifications, drawings, and documentation to understand project scope.
* Create Accurate and Competitive Proposals: Produce proposals with pricing, design details, and technical justifications tailored to client needs.
* Estimate Project Costs: Build detailed cost estimates considering materials, labor, manufacturing, and third-party inputs, and identify cost-effective alternatives.
* Coordinate with Internal Teams: Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and production departments to gather input and ensure feasibility.
* Engage with Clients: Act as the main contact during proposals, handle technical questions, attend meetings, and support negotiations.
* Ensure Proposal Quality and Timeliness: Manage documentation, records, and ensure compliance with standards and deadlines.
Requirements:
* HNC qualification in Building Services Engineering or similar.
* At least 3 years' experience in estimating, proposals, and pricing, preferably in Building Services.
* Proficiency in CAD/AutoCAD for costing and spatial design.
* Strong knowledge of UK contract and tendering processes.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder liaising skills.
