Electrical Estimator The company are a very successful and well-respected Electrical Building Services contractor based in the High Wycombe area. With a strong presence in the commercial and office fit-out sectors, they provide comprehensive electrical solutions from design through to installation and commissioning, with project values typically range from £20k to £2m. Due to ongoing business growth, an excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join the team. The Role: As an Electrical Estimator, youll play a vital role in the pre-construction phase, preparing accurate, competitive estimates across a range of commercial electrical projects. Youll work closely with engineers, project managers, and the wider pre-construction team to ensure all bids are aligned with client expectations and company standards. Key Responsibilities: Tender electrical projects from £20k to £2m in value Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documentation Identify scope, materials, and labour requirements Evaluate risks and explore cost-saving or value-engineering opportunities Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers/subcontractors Source and assess supplier and subcontractor quotes to ensure competitive pricing Maintain an accurate cost database and utilise historical project data Assist in the preparation of detailed bid proposals and client presentations Electrical Estimator - Desired Skills & Experience: Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator within the Electrical Building Services sector Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and installations Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Excel High attention to detail and strong commercial acumen Excellent communication and negotiation skills Relevant electrical qualifications Design experience is advantageous but not essential Whats on Offer: Salary: £60,000 £80,000 depending on experience Bonus Scheme Private healthcare Pension scheme options Company events Company laptop and mobile phone Training and development support Genuine career progression within a growing and respected business Friendly, supportive, and rewarding working environment How to Apply: If you're an experienced Electrical Estimator looking to join a growing, well-regarded business that truly values its team, we want to hear from you.
