Hours: 40 hours per week (some flexibility available)
Your Responsibilities
As a Major Projects Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will:
* Lead the mechanical design for large, complex construction projects, ensuring sustainable and cost-effective delivery from concept to construction.
* Provide high-quality mechanical designs and specifications that meet client requirements.
* Offer high-level technical advice in mechanical building services engineering during project design meetings.
* Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
* Promote and implement sustainable design solutions.
* Identify and resolve technical and logistical challenges during design and construction phases.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you have:
* A degree in Mechanical Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, and membership in CIBSE or IET.
* Experience demonstrating your capability to fulfill the role’s accountabilities, with a high level of knowledge in your discipline.
* The ability to communicate complex technical concepts in an easily understood manner for a wider audience.
* Experience with quality procedures and document control in engineering design.
* The ability to meet BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) requirements.
