Your role:As a Senior IT Support Engineer, you’ll provide Tier 2 IT support across multiple academies, solving higher-level IT issues while working closely with the IT Manager. Your responsibilities will include:
* Installing and configuring hardware, operating systems, and applications
* Monitoring and maintaining networks and computer systems
* Troubleshooting system and network problems (hardware/software)
* Supporting new application rollouts
* Setting up new users, managing passwords, and resolving account issues
* Responding to IT incidents within agreed timeframes
What our client is looking for:
* Proven 2nd Line IT Support experience
* Strong Active Directory skills - adding/removing users, password resets, Group Policy Management
* Experience with Wi-Fi networks (Aruba preferred) and Switches/Infrastructure (DHCP, DNS, VLANs)
* Working knowledge of Servers - Antivirus, Backups, SCCM or WDS
* Networking experience - exposure to switches
Bonus skills (nice to have):
* Experience managing VLAN Ports and projects using core IT technologies
* Google workspace experience
* Exposure to Hyper-V
* Previous IT support experience within education
A Full UK Driving License is required.
