Band 5 & 6 Registered Midwife – The Royal London Hospital – Barts Health NHS Trust
Pulse Nursing are seeking Band 5 & 6 Registered Midwives to join our team to work for Barts Health NHS Trust. There are a high volume of shifts available, and Pulse healthcare professionals receive priority access to the best shifts. This opportunity offers flexibility to book in advance and plan ahead, with a variety of shift patterns including full-time equivalent hours. Pay range: £20.89 - £39.58 per hour.
As a Band 5 or 6 Midwife, you will deliver high-quality, woman-centered care throughout all stages of pregnancy, childbirth, and the postnatal period, within a supportive multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes for mothers, babies, and families.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide comprehensive antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to women and their families, ensuring safety and wellbeing.
* Support women in making informed choices about their care and birth plans.
* Conduct risk assessments and manage emergency situations, delivering safe and effective care.
* Offer emotional support, education, and guidance to women and their families throughout the maternity journey.
* Work collaboratively with obstetricians, neonatologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
Role Requirements:
* Registered Midwife (RM) with a valid NMC registration.
* Passionate about delivering high-quality, woman-centered care.
* Minimum of 6 months experience in a clinical setting.
* To meet framework compliance requirements including DBS, Occupational Health, Clinical References and Updated CV.
* Right to work within the UK – Proof will be required.
