Job Title: Support Manager – Supported Living Services
Location: Harrogate, HG5
Salary: £34,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time
About the Role:
We are a well-established charity providing high-quality supported living services for adults with complex needs. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Support Manager to lead our team in Harrogate, supporting 10 individuals across our services.
As the Support Manager, you will oversee daily operations, manage a staff team, and ensure the delivery of safe, person-centred care. You will work closely with individuals, families, and external stakeholders to maintain the highest standards of care and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, manage, and develop a team of support staff
* Oversee the wellbeing, safety, and development of 10 service users
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and charity policies
* Conduct supervisions, appraisals, and performance monitoring
* Maintain and review support plans, risk assessments, and welfare checks
* Promote independence and positive outcomes for service users
* Liaise with families, health professionals, and other stakeholders
Requirements:
* Minimum Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Level 5 preferred)
* Proven experience in managing supported living or similar services
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding, compliance, and welfare checks
* Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
* Full driving licence essential
