We are recruiting for a full time Member Finance Assistant to join our Finance team based on site at our Wootton office, MK43 9EJ.
Reporting to the Member Financial Services Senior Administrator, this role is responsible for managing banking allocations, refunds and compensation, while maintaining strong relationships with yards and members. You will act as a key point of contact for payment-related queries from members and colleagues.
The salary for this position is £27,976 per annum.
Key Responsibilities:
* Allocate incoming payments to member accounts.
* Respond to payment and refund queries via phone, email or letter.
* Process authorised refunds and compensation (cheque, card or electronic transfer).
* Support yards with banking adjustments in line with company guidelines.
* Maintain and reconcile the refund log and daily banking transactions.
* Investigate and resolve banking discrepancies.
* Action stop cheque requests and provide information to members and management.
Skills & Experience:
* Working knowledge of accounting practices.
* Previous experience in a similar financial/administration role.
* Strong customer service and communication skills.
* Computer literate with good attention to detail.
* Ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and work effectively within a team.
* Minimum one year's experience in an office environment.
* Full UK drivers licence and access to a car.
