Job Title: Process Associate (PA)
Summary:
Amazon is a highly data-driven company highly passionate about its customers. It is vital to ensure customers always get their orders on time and with quality. The processes at the FCs are largely manual involving many associates. A critical role is that of a process associate who mentors and guides associates to meet customer expectations by following standard work practices, keeping safety and quality in mind.
Job Deliverables:
* Daily management of shift, including administrative management, job allocation, and monitoring and mentoring associates on productivity, quality, and safety.
* Monitor status of counts and problem-solve queues.
* Responsible for shift quality and action plans.
* Prepare and implement training and development plans for associates.
* Conduct daily 4M and 5S audits for work stations.
* Stand-in for Area Manager.

Essential Functions:
1. Define transportation process from FC to delivery stations.
2. Ensure sufficient bandwidth in the sortation team for peak delivery times.
3. Lead a team of process associates and problem solvers.
4. Continuously improve throughput and delivery performance.
5. Analyze data reports to identify performance bottlenecks and improve performance.
6. Implement process control and improvement mechanisms such as Kaizen.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* High school or equivalent.
* Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
* 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
