Assisting colleagues, and engaging with clients, on matters relating to Streetworks.This is a rewarding role, aiding projects day to day and playing a key role in supporting the Southern Region to deliver its portfolio of works based in Tyttenhangar Park.Key Responsibilities:Key Accountability and ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for issuing new Streetworks permits to the Street Manager system and managing each permit to it’s conclusion.Maintaining awareness of commitments and undertakings and support efforts to manage the requirements to avoid breaches of legislation and compliance, to includeStarts/StopsSite ClearAll registrations24 Hour DefectsInterim permitting and allocatingIn day progress chasing of teamsExtensions ReinstatementStakeholder EngagementAd hoc AdminRequest ExtensionsUpdate Project Coordinator on job statusMaintain up to date and accurate schedule requirementsYou will be responsible for: Opening, Coordinating and Closing of Streetworks alongside the Planning teamCo-ordinating with other 3rd parties e.g. Parking suspensions, Bus Stop suspensions, Road Closures etcCoordinating and administering Section 50 licensesAnalysing and Responding to FPN's and Section 74 chargesCompiling reports for proposed and in progress works where requiredSending permit registrations where requiredSupport the project teams with planning related responsibilities associated with the management of their contracts and reporting requirementsEnsure central filing system is utilised and up to dateProvide support and input into company KPI’sRespond to Highway Authority comments and modification requestsSend out daily reports on street works activity i.e permit status and registration updatesParticipate and support the project teams in project and programme planning and progress meetingsIdentify and maintain programme and schedule interface activities relating to NRSWA and the projectAll other duties necessary for the successful completion of a project alongside the Project teamAssist with daily tasks in the office, receiving deliveries, managing collections, ensuring stationery supplies are maintained.Collaborative WorkingBuild collaborative relationships internally and with the Client, to deliver business objectives, targets and outcomes.Engage in companywide improvement and reviews meetings/workshopsAudit and GovernanceMonthly commercial and project review of schemesAudit complianceKey Measures and TargetsBarhale monthly and weekly reporting milestones are achievedContract milestones are achievedAdherence to Business objectivesDeliver regional 3 Pillar KPI’sKey RelationshipsCustomers and stakeholdersSubcontractors and suppliersSite team members and support departmentsCurrent and potential clientsAbout youEssentialGood working knowledge of Microsoft suite of packagesAbility to communicate at all levelsGood interpersonal and person management skillsAbility to work well with others in a team and on their ownThorough attention to detailDesirableStrong organisational skillsAn ability to work proactively, accurately and to strict deadlines under pressureThe appropriate candidate must be assertive and confident when liaising with Project Managers, Local Authorities and other stakeholdersCaring and investing in youOur values have been embedded at Barhale for over 40 years and they are our guiding principle regarding how we care and invest in people.
