Clerk of Works role at Scottish Borders Housing Association.
Location: Selkirk Office, with travel across the Scottish Borders. Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week. Contract: Permanent. Closing Date: Friday 7 November 2025.

Responsibilities
* Carry out regular site inspections, ensuring all works meet SBHA's high standards and regulatory requirements.
* Build strong relationships with contractors and colleagues, fostering a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
* Oversee health and safety compliance, reporting and resolving issues swiftly.
* Coordinate handovers, ensuring homes are defect-free and ready for tenants.
* Represent SBHA at meetings, with residents and during inspections.
Qualifications
* HND/C or equivalent in Building (or substantial relevant experience).
* Significant construction and property experience.
* A keen eye for quality and detail, with a commitment to excellence.
* Experience in inspecting workmanship.
* Strong communication and IT skills.
* A collaborative, proactive approach and a full UK driving licence.
