Payroll Fraud Analyst
Salary: Up to £45,000
Location: UK (Home based)
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Payroll Fraud Analyst to join a high performing fraud function. Applicants must have experience of identifying payroll fraud. The role would suit candidates with strong analytical skills who have experience undertaking payroll fraud analysis.
The role:
* Data analysis: Examining payroll data to find suspicious patterns, such as duplicate payments, incorrect employee setups, or other discrepancies.
* System monitoring: Using analytical tools to monitor payroll systems for potential fraud, often involving flagging unusual activity.
* Fraud prevention: Designing and implementing strategies, rules, and controls to prevent future fraudulent activities from occurring.
* Investigation: Conducting investigations into suspected cases of payroll fraud to confirm financial losses.
* Reporting: Creating reports and presenting findings to management and making recommendations for policy changes or system improvements.
You will be:
* Experienced in investigating payroll fraud
* Strong analytical skills
* Able to translate complex fraud insights into clear, actionable recommendations for policy and operations
