Job Summary:
The Salvation Army in Sunderland are looking to recruit a General Assistant Catering as part of our staff & volunteer team in a Community Centre in Southwick in Sunderland.
Key Responsibilities:
The post of General Assistant Catering provides support to the preparation of food and the maintenance of a clean catering environment. Attention to detail and good communication skills are essential. You will be required to work to an agreed cleaning schedule in accordance with our Health & Safety procedures and COSHH requirements.
Successful candidate will have:
1. Previous experience in professional kitchen or catering environment and the proper use of catering equipment
2. Knowledge of relevant health & safety requirements and procedures
3. Ability to work effectively to a high standard and with minimal supervision
