Job Description
1. Communicate with all co-workers professionally regarding any discrepancies or queries.
2. Report problems affecting quality or service delivery promptly to the Team Leader or Section Manager.
3. Prepare and analyse samples accurately and timely.
4. Report all samples correctly into LIMS.
5. Prepare chemical standards and reagents following Standard Operating Procedures.
6. Understand and adhere to provided Standard Operating Procedures.
7. Maintain a positive image by keeping equipment, work area, and PPE clean.
8. Use company equipment as per guidelines and report any damage promptly.
9. Work as part of a team, maintaining morale and offering help and assistance.
10. Prioritize safety, reporting accidents and near misses immediately to management.
11. Assist with on-site training of new employees, ensuring a friendly and engaging onboarding process.
12. Operate instrumentation such as HPLC, GC-FID, UV-VIS, and Amino Acid analysers after training.
13. Demonstrate diligence and compliance with company policies and procedures.
14. Maintain safe, compliant, and effective working standards.
15. Review and optimise ways of working for efficiency.
16. Share best practices and suggest improvements.
17. Work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
18. Utilize reporting lines for support and report problems effectively and promptly.
19. Seek opportunities for personal development, embrace change, and seek clarity when needed.
